Art of Fitness Laguna Fundraiser
May 31st, 2008, in Laguna Beach California, Art of Fitness partnered with other local businesses to throw a block party that would benefit Wheels 4 Life. The event opened with a three hour Spin-a-thon. Participants supported the Wheels4Life mission by pledging a sum of money for every hour they rode the bikes.
Later in the day, live music, food, raffles, and $5 massages attracted beach goers to hang out, and learn about the cause.
The raffle prizes were donated by friends of the fitness center and tickets were bought at $1 each. After the winners were drawn, and the proceeds were counted, Art of Fitness had raised over $1950.- for Wheels 4 Life!
Art of Fitness owners Marian Keegan and Fernanda Rocha were excited about the opportunity to give back on a local and global scope. “We are so fortunate to live in such a generous community that understands this mission.”
